Hey, this seems to be making improvements on the Socom boards so I figure I'll try it here!
We, your valued customers, would greatly appreciate the ability to update your PSN Name/ID without losing our:
Having to create an entirely new account, in order to update our name, is archaic and not the least bit user friendly. Your valued customers understand that you might have to put restrictions on such actions and this is completely acceptable.
You could possibly:
- Limit the # of resets (once per month/year)
- Charge a fee for resetting it
If you support this idea, please post below. Maybe if we get enough supporters they will offer, at least, some type of customer support to make this possible.
Note: If you are fine with your PSN ID and don’t want to change it, this isn’t the place where you tell the world that.

You can put me down as opposed. Being locked into our names gives people accountability. You can't just go around making a fool of yourself without consequences. You actually lose something if you have to switch to a different name because you ran your previous one through the mud.
