Re: Please please sony for the love of god fix this.

hmm, Well, I have a pretty huge Tv, and the way its set up, I would be shining that light right at the screen.

And I am definitely not putting duct tape on my controller. I however, don't really think this will be a major problem during gameplay.

My tv and my equipment is higher than my bed, so I hopefully will not have any problems.

Its not that big of a deal. Its a light. If you play near a window, the lights reflected, if you have a headset with a light , the lights reflected. LEDs in dualshock 3 are reflected. Get over it it. SONY won't cater to you.

I will save my crying until I actually give it a go.  With The Last of Us I know I killed all my lights because the game was so dark in spots, a giant blue light reflected on my screen would not have helped my immersion.

I dont think OP is whining. However OP is guilty of a whiny thread title as I too was expecting some immature prattling.

This does seem like a legit "problem".
A good fix would have been a small buttom next to the light to have on/off.
Mostly likely tho, there will be options in game or in a future update.

Just express your concern more profesionally next time.

This is your solution... Cheers

I actually heard that the tech demo Play Room is going to use the light in a very unique way. Think about it.

Since there is no camera [bundled] with the PS4, how are we going to use it unless some of us feel it's necessary.

What if the Light plays a role to pinpoint the motion sensors in the controller. Think, what if you angled the controllers light near the bottom of the screen and because of the motion sensors in the controller the tech demo can tell where you are pointing. Sound pretty cool if you think about it. Why would Sony bundle the tech demo in the PS4? Unless of course it's to market the camera to be bought by its new PS4 owners... but really?

What's the problem with having it on?

Here's an idea guyz!

Don't point your controller at the TV.

Problem solved.
