Sony's PlayStation Vita Referral Program a scam?

[ Edited ]

Oh I almost sure it might be. The website Amplifinity is claiming that you'l receive a $20 SN credit & 1,000 Sony Reward points for each successful referral you obtain up to 10. I was registered for the contest which ended on Feb. 28th and cannot register again "which is not anywhere in the rules"...

Anyways my post is wondering why after 5 weeks I haven't received my rewards.... Simple. This must be a scam or just plain bogus.

Thanks again for being a disappointment, Sony.

This was an actual program by Sony though.

I also received an email for it a long time ago.

The reason you haven't received your credit, is because the contest is still going on.

It doesn't end until May 10th.

Sony had hired Amplifinity "to run this contest" and they started another contest which started in March. I have spoken to many people including Amplifinity and Sony. Amplifinity says it up to Sony... Sony gives me the run around. So if Sony actually reads these threads, can someone give me a straight answer?

As I said, it's still on going.

Also, no one from Sony will give you an answer here.

I beg to differ with "IT'S STILL GOING ON", if you would read what I posted I registered for the contest running from Jan. 24th to Feb. 28th (PSVita Birthday), IT ENDED... I can no longer make referrals... The timeframe for which you are implying is the same thing, but diifferent time frame. As when this contest ends another onw will follow. And so on. They give you roughly 6 weeks to compete fpr the 1 million Sony Reward points in the contest I was in their were 1084 participants and I was 14th I had 16 Successful entries... I should receive $200 PSN and 10,000 reward points. So if this contest is still going on, as some say, then why can't I make more referrals? Untitled.png

All you can do is speak with Sony, not forum members. None of us work for Sony so we dont know whats going on or the details for the contest. Please address Sony ether by email or phone.

Yeah, I bumped the thread we had here during said period, and I didn't hear from anyone that has received anything from this.

I just read the rules.

It says 4-8 weeks it will take for you to receive the email to redeem your PSN gift card money.

Your contest ended  3/31/13

Which means until 5/31/13, they still can email you.

Which means you shouldn't be complaining.

Seems you people can't read... The contest in which I enrolled ran from January to February NOT THE CURRENT promotion. Please do not plagerize me on the date.
