Re: Starhawk Wednesday's™ Community Event Sign Ups

Jul 3, 2014

I had to leave sooner than I expected. My internet was getting messed up. I was able to fix it during the beginnnig Deathmatch; I literally lost 8 kills because of it. But now it is getting a bit worse. I'll need to fix it soon. Thank you for the fun though!  Smiley Very Happy

Also because I showed up for a minute then left.

I just wasn't up to playing, I felt awful, of course I did, I was going to get a migraine later. Robot Sad Sucked. Well, next week then.

You don't happen to get Occular Migranes do you?   If you do what do you do to get rid of that awful headache?   The only thing that works for me is sleep

AUGH no. I get "normal" migraines. I mean, for me, normal is supposely different kinds, but not that kind, thank God.

I often get weird feelings (body and mind) beforehand, pain follows many hours later. Sometimes though I can't point behind me to find anything off, I just get hit with the pain.

The only thing I can do is take ibrubrophen, it seems to help, sometimes more than other times.

Sleep can help or hinder, depends.

Usually I have light sensitivity right before the pain is noticeable, but little other signs way before that.

I self treat, doctors were clueless in my younger years, and I never wanted to be on a maintainence medicine nor have interventions, just deal with it myself.

I've had really bad episodes. I used to get them in triplicates. If I got one, I would know I'd have relief at some point, but I'd have another soon and another soon after that. I used to try to keep records, but I seemed to get them MORE when I paid attention to writing it down. If that makes any sense.

Now adays some of them are bad, some are just annoying. I haven't gotten them too often this year. Allergies are bad though. So when I do have a migraine, it's complicated.

"They say" or have said for years, low blood sugar can trigger a migraine. I have found I feel that my blood sugar is low right before I get one, whether I've eaten or not., eaten wrongly or not. It's like the agenda is set way beforehand, nothing much can stop a rushing train. Just dealing with it as it happens and living inbetween has worked for me.

My migraines are mine, part of me, and I don't know for sure if I'd appreciate light and sounds and people and energy so much if I never had any. FWIW
