Re: The Real Cost Of PlayStation Plus --- Year 1

Jul 7, 2010

OP EDITED:

Added new items available in store.  Removed Qore Annual Subscription and replaced with individual month episode.  Rescripted the "Other" category's description to match.  Labeled "Premium Game Elements" as "SUSPECT" (Strikethrough on these forums is not functioning) and edited category description with reason and links.  Edited the confirmed total.

I've saved $29.41 only on the permanent things (althought DLC is suspect).  So... yeah.  Kinda nice.

Well not if those people on a budget want a couple free games a month to keep them entertained lol

As for the chart its great and all, it obviously shows that you can save a lot money, that is if u actually want to play the games they discount or offer for free.

But for the free games it doesnt matter, free is free lol

This is the way I feel. I don't actually play my PS3 that often but did join PSN+ for the reason you stated. I thought it might bring me over the the PS3 a little more and who knows where that could lead.

I know the voices are not real but they do have some good ideas!

Just got ps+ today and found out the warhawk dlc isn't free anymore.

Aren't the freebies suppose to last all month?

It was free during the $2 sale, but is still free today.

For some reason, when the sale ended Sony removed it from the PlayStation Plus section, but if you search for it it is still available for free.

Store >>> All Games >>> W >>> Warhawk >>> add-on

Removed all information relating to Qore.  Examining it's "Information" with Triangle reveals it expires along with your subscription.

Really?

I purchased it looong ago.  But when I noticed it wasn't in the Plus section I searched for it.  There in the Warhawk section I saw it was listed for me as both owned under Paid and Plus free (even though I didnt' download it a second time --- I still have it on my HDD).  I could even select the Plus free option and download it if I wanted to.

Can someone else confirm it is gone?

I'll check again, maybe it was just a bug.

Yup, all 3 dlc say $7.99 next to them and none have the +.

No big deal, I dount you'll watch the majority of episodes a year later. I'm sure the free game, avatars, themes, home content etc. you get with a episode will be permanent.
