When did you START gaming?

As the title says, when did you START playing video games.

I'll go first:

In the early 80's i was the luckiest kid in Russia, one of the first to have the Atari 2600 (my addiction kicked in then)

My first system was a Sega Genesis...I still remember it like it was yesterday playing in my room, and hiding the system under my bed during school days so my parents wouldn't take it from me lol

For me the Commodore 64 was my earliest memory of gaming, playing Choplifter (it was my dad's). I was hooked. Shortly followed by the SNES I got for christmas when I was 5-6.

I was maybe 5 or 6 when my brother got that same Atari 2600. He was 13 or 14. I would play it and probably fell in love with gaming more than him.

As a family we finally got a NES in '89, I would be the one mostly gaming on it. Later it was supposedly "stolen", I believe my family sold it. I replaced it with one I found at a used game shop.

Christmas '91 is when my family got me a SNES. Not sure what happened to my original, but I found an almost mint original model with no yellowing, just like what I had, over this past summer.

In '95 I bought my first game console with my own money. Best. Day. Ever. Sony PlayStation and Crash Bandicoot.

I can't really pin-point it, but it was probably here:

GHZ

Weird to see what has happened to the franchise, and the fanbase. Smiley Mad

The original NC I remember having to blow out the cartridges and wedging a piece of paper in after I put the game in to keep the holding tray from popping back up.

The Original Gameboy was the first video game system I had when I was a little kid

The PS1 was the first console I owned in 1996. My first games were Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider.

Early 80s here too. Atari 2600 and a small 10 inch black and white TV. My dedicated gaming machine. Bought it at Zellers in Canada.

Then NES, SNES, N64, 3DO, PS1, PS2, XBOX, XBOX360,PS3, WII, and now a ps4. The xboxone will come eventually. I'm guessing 2016.
