Why hasn't Sony made PSP games comp. with PS3?

10 replies 159 views Edited Mar 2, 2013

The Vita shares alot of the same infrastructure as the PS3. They could actually sell a lot more units if PS3 was compatible with PSP. I for one would love to see it happen as there are games I would love to get but are only available on the PSP.

And Sony really cares about us on the share page. out of over 7000 ideas only 94 have been implemented, and a lot of the ideas are **bleep** good. *sigh*Smiley Sad

Pinball totally rules!

Because the games would look awful on the PS3. Some games look bad on the Vita, let alone a system meant for HD gaming.

Because no one wants to play their PSP games blown up on their TV so they look like NES games.

If by 'alot' you mean 'none', then you are absolutely correct.

Yes, they both operate using a microprocessor, but that is where the simlarities end.

The average IQ in America is 65.  I wouldn't be so sure about that.

That's "architecture". And they share enough that the emulator the vita can run for psp games, will also run on the ps3.

The infrastructure, the store, etc., with the games available for the vita, could also obviously then be made available for ps3 owners.

Understand the thought process here? The Vita supports psp games.. why shouldn't the ps3 get the same library?

Hell, it would probably make sense for Sony to do it as well, considering the abysmal sales of the Vita.

From experience, I suspect the average IQ of an American "intellectual" is even lower. So there you go.

I have a Vita and yes the games are lacking right now but the system is great. Playing Call of Duty black ops declassified feels just like playing black ops on the PS3, that's multi player wise and its very fun. I have 8 Vita games and its very fun
