Spam increased when Sony introduced the Copy/Paste feature.
It will increase even more when/if Sony introduces a feature to allow users to send messages through a PC.

The Japanese are not into social networking as the Americans are. So no.
In XBox you can do everything online with the web browser you can add friends, chat, message them, etc. when your friends are online with their consoles while you're in front of your computer at work. There's even an app for that! Yes, Windows phone, Android, and iPhone. Blackbe what? - so anyway, PSN might eventually move along these lines since it'a what everybody seems to want. I mean besides, friends should be accessible anywhere anyhow right?
