Build a time machine and go back to six months ago and deactivate your account then.

If your PS3 is not broken and you still have it you can go to Account Management and deactivate it from there.

Why do people need to deactivate so often? Are you really breaking that many PS3s? You shouldn't have your account active on a PS3 you don't have access to. If you have access to these PS3s you should deactivate on the XMB like has been suggested. If you've been breaking them within six months you really should figure out why. It must be getting expensive replacing them. If all else fails contact Customer Service at 1-800-345-7669 and see if they'll deactivate for you.

Well the only other way to deactivate it other than waiting would be to have access to the PS3 that has your activation. If not, well then I don't know what else to tell you...

No, I thought by the rest of my post everyone would know I suspect the reason. Smiley Wink

I don't think he gets how the thing works.

I think he thinks that if you use the deactivation thing, you cannot activate it for 6 months.

Which is completely wrong.

^ He's doing it remotely from the website. You can only deactivate that way every six months, it only deactivates game content, maybe music. Keep your account private and you won't need to wait six months to use your stuff again.
