The only way that you'd be right, is if the "could care less" was followed by a statement like "but I don't".

Urban dictionary says you're wrong
m.urbandictionary.com/#define?term=I%20could%20care%20less
So does grammar girl

I'm in bed with Webster-Merriam. I flirt with Urban only when I need some words for a dirty joke lol.

As you can see, in the mornings (at least here on the East Coast) I like to derail things...

Well, regardless, it's wrong.

Sure, the phrase has been accepted as colloquially correct. But grammatically speaking, it's wrong.

Imagine if "caring" was on a scale of 0-10, 0 being no care, 10 caring a lot. If you say you could care less, that means you care greater than 0 (since you said there is less care to give).

If you say you couldn't care less, then you care 0 (because you can't go below 0 on the care scale)

Ok this is the reason why these forums are stupid and Sony doesn't read them because of all of the off topic people fighting about words and what they mean I think that everyone understood what he was trying to say if I was Sony and seen your childish debates I would look past this forum and not try to fix your problems this is psvita forums not English class
