ps3 controller

5 replies 68 views Edited May 15, 2013

My controller only works if it is connected by USB cable. I buy a new one and it does the same thing. When I push PS button it is suppose to start looking for ps3 device and the back lights where suppose to blink but it doesn't do anything.

That's what I thought and I bought a new controller but it does the same. I've checked lots of forums to see if the new one isn't a fake copy of ps3 controller and it looks official. I've tried another ubs cable. Reset controller configuration and nothing works.

Have you tried turning on the PS3 first, then connecting the new controller with the usb cord, which registers the controller to that PS3, then it should charge and work wirelessly after that.

Aslo, the PS3 has to be on for the controllers to charge

Just make sure you've done the above. If that doesn't work ...
