I have never had any problems with the casino. Could some of these nonrealistic events happen because we are using way more credits than anyone would actually use in real life. I mean when was the last time you were able to spend thousands on blackjack. Everyone is bound to get a few streaks here and there when playing hundreds or even thousands of hands. If you were a dealer in a real casino I'm sure you would have the same type of outrageous stories of getting blackjack a few times in a row.

I am just saying there is no way to compare DL casino with real life because the amounts of hands being played are much higher than IRL

I've never been fool enough to actually spend real money there, but I did just illegitimately lose chips from a disconnect, I've lost hundreds of free chips that way & never report it, because I expect that sort of thing, well almost. If you've ever seen me at poker tables or elsewhere other than what free chips get you, its actually because I've had a rare string of good luck & we all know how often that happens. No one's ever bought chips for me either & I would just turn down that offer anyway, spend your money on a virtual item you like, or if you want to gift someone do it through Lockwood or some other way, maybe a psn card & email them the voucher code.

Sorry I don't see your logic, I've played in the 1000s of blackjack hands and the house edge is around 7%, 14 times higher than a standard casino (using basic strategy). If you divide all the bets by 100, the house edge is still the same. I can only speculate on other games, but am quite meticulous in my blackjack as I want to minimize the house advantage.

As long as you don't expect the payout of a real casino, you won't feel cheated. But I agree it's wrong if they claim Vegas odds (Vegas rules perhaps but not odds). While I enjoyed the rewards (and learned to play craps in the process); as I put more and more money into it, I got frustrated that it wasn't a real simulation and the dealer went God mode every now and then (i.e. 4+ blackjacks in a row). Chips did not last as long as they should.

If you have the cash, or patience for free chips, it's still a fun (and addictive) diversion on Home. And of course some will get lucky and win big. For those interested, here's single deck and multi deck strategy tables (use left tables). I've seen many people bust or get beaten when they probably shouldn't have. Hopefully this will help, and remember, 'know your limit, play within it' Smiley Happy

I once won 10,000 chips on the free Daily Slots.

Kept me playing sporadically for a few months. But it's all gone now.

I just had my single best run at War, betting the max amount each time (they were free chips). Went from 100 to 1800 chips without losing a hand (though had to go to War once over a 3 card, but won that). I stopped playing the moment I lost a hand. It's a semi decent euphoria not to be at 0 chips atm. Normally War just gobbles up my coins.

Well I don't mean the odds are different because they are probably the same, what I do mean is MOST people have probably played more hands of blackjack or any other casino game on this or other electronic forms than in an actual casino so the likleyhood of a rare event is greater.   If a person can play about 250 hands in an hour at the DL casino you could easily have played 100,000 hands if you just spent about of an hour a day there.

If I played 1000 hands of blackjack in a casino and played 1000 on Home the odds should be the same, but because in Home I have thousands of more "dollars" to spend than in a real casino I might have played 100,000 hands.  So when a rare event happens it sticks out in a persons mind than the thousands of other times they have played.  The odds are still the same, but I have seen much stranger stuff when I have played that much.

Is the DL casino skewed towards these rare events? I have no idea, but in my experience I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary. Until recently I only played with free chips and winnings form daily slots, which have been  usually 20 with a double cherry once (but I dont remember how much that gives).  This means I have probably not played as much as others, but as I play more I would expect a few of these types of runs to happen eventually.

If we're talking about odds of the dealer making a blackjack, we're focusing only on the # of hands, regardless of bet size. The dealer has gotten at least 4 blackjacks in a row for me, probably 5 in a row. If for argument's sake I played 2500 hands, than it's highly unlikely the dealer would hit 4-5 blackjacks in a row, certainly not on more than one occassion. Two days ago I stopped by the blackjack room and the dealer hit 5 blackjacks in a row on one table (to the dismay of everyone playing), and I was just there for a few minutes.

Even if I was that unlucky to lose to 5 blackjacks in a row, the house edge was still about 7% after a large sample size, when it should average to around 0.5%. What are the chances the house edge is 7% after 2000 hands of blackjack in a real casino? Probably close to zero, I find it hard to believe my luck is that bad. I learned to accept that DL's blackjack is around 7% house edge following basic strategy. Which may be fine for most people; even with lower payouts the Casino is as exciting and addictive as ever.

That's the first accurate comment you've made in this thread.

Please do a research on the subject.
