Kudos for Beta Bucks

Please be aware that this post is intended for mature serious readers.

*clears throat*

Have seen a few replies and posts regarding Home being Beta and the term "Beta" being used as an excuse

for Sony to shrug off responsibility when it comes to broken or lost PAID FOR items.

Have also seen a few replies suggesting that since Home is in beta, we be able to use "Beta Money" to purchase items in Home.

Herein lies the problem with this idea; there is no such thing as "Beta Money"

Now, as sad as that is - considering the fact that we are paying for "Beta" items with REAL monies -

(yes, even Canadian money is real)

there should be some means of aquiring "Beta Dollars". Perhaps through playing minigames, or a points system on purchases (like AirMiles).

Personally, have no use for Kudos, so how about this:

Instead of having a "Kudos" button, give us a "Beta Bucks" button. When someone clicks it because your post or reply is worthy, you get one "Beta Cent".

This way, we can earn redeemable points used in trade for virtual items in HOME as well as earn them in Home by playing minigames etc.!!!

Sound stupid? YES! Just like having the term "Beta" attached to an application that sells you broken and/or missing items that may very well take

a long long time to have those items restored or repaired.

Sony, you may have these Kudos in trade for some Beta Bucks.

I support this idea. It's been thrown around since the beginning of open beta, but I doubt we'll ever see it implemented because of the amount people spend in home regardless.

Trophies that unlock in home items should also be worth beta bucks, considering when one unlocks an item such as the white knight chronicles armor and wears it in home, they are advertising that game`s reward content an thus should recieve something in return. Yes. Kudo my friend.

I know that SONY could do BETA bucks because they also run a virtual world called FREE RELMS. In that world you get spendable credits for doing certian tasks, just like in the Sodium space where you get virtual credits for serving or drinking drinks. It's a step in the right direction but shouldn't be limited to the Sodium space. GO virtual BETA BUCKS !
