Network errors

today i had so many network errors that i had to call sony techs. ps home for me right now is unplayable.  every time i go anywhere on home it only takes 3 minutes and im booted with a network error  F13, or M-21 or C931. It literally happened today about 30 times. the techs at sony had me clear the cache,,,no help,,,delete and reinstall the program...no help... rebooted wireless router....no help,  This all started today and up until now ps home has been working fine.  Im at wits end almost to the point of leaving ps home  because it just will not run for more than 5 minutes,,whenever im in a personal space or public area. I dont mind network errors every now and then but when its at a point when the application is unplayable its time to go,,which is sad because a lot of money was spent on home to enhance the experience and i fear all that is gone. By the way the internet works fine with only a few labtops.  Home wont even work when the laptops are off. Also Ps home is the only application that is presently installed on the ps3 console.

Re: Network errors

I know they randomly occur, thats happened to me in the past and you  just live with it. but this is different every change in venue whether personal space or public space ends up with a lost connection to network error all within 3 minutes of entering the venue. Once i was put into a private server with not one person there and then it worked fine...Its mind boggling how a perfectly working application can self destruct for no apparent reason in one day.

Re: Network errors

Private servers are giving you less trouble because Home is now bogged down with all of the new locomotion items & companions eating up memory is what I figure is happening. There has been a sharp increase in errors for me lately since theyre release. Unfortuneately this probably isnt going to get better quickly, maybe stick to personal spaces and private servers until later on in the week when user lag dies down a little or its night time where you live (less server strain with less users on service = quicker less buggy Home experience.

Re: Network errors

I called Sony and they said it might be related to storm damage since i live in New Jersey. I did a system restore and reinstalled Home and the newwork disconnections have become less.  i can only go to certain areas it seems..for instance if i go to adventure im ok.  if i go to x7 i last about 2 minutes tops,  southern adventure wont even load. Sony said its probably server problems that are related to Sandy and to give it 3 days to a week to stabilize.

[ Edited ]

FYI...I'm also in New Jersey and was on a public server in public and private spaces last night for hours - including x7 for more than 2 minutes, visiting store and then talking to a friend - and this morning for about 45 minutes ~8:45-9:30am with no problems. So if it's "the server", then is it one particular server out of several possible ones, Sony?  Maybe need to run some diagnostics to isolate the culprit if so.

Re: Network errors

again today,,everytime i logged into Home i would get an f13 or d4512 network error disconnect. it doesnt matter now whether im in a public or private personal space. the longest i stayed on all day was about 15 minutes at sportswalk and the errors came again.. all of this started occuring exactly 35 minutes after wednesdays update. my wirless signal runs between 85 and 100 %. d-35,d4512,m-21,f13,c931 is the list of the errors i have recorded.

Re: Network errors

This is amazing, its 12.30am eastern time and i just finished a so called session on ps home. I LITERALLY logged on 12 times and within a minute of each time i logged on i recieved an F-13 error disconnect and 1   Z(11,-2)  ERROR disconnect. So needless to say the session didnt go well.  Heres my very simple question..    Why am i gettiing booted 12 times in a row all within a 25 minute period. I dont want to hear clear the cache, or reinstall the home client or system restore the ps3 console.  Been there done all that. There must be someone out there in the world of sony that can give an explanation for this and some type of remedial action.
