pink names are part of community events, such as starhawk wednesday, and are given out as rewards for completing a task or challenge.

Check it out.....  http://www.community.us.playstation.com/t5/Starhawk-General/Starhawk-Wednesday-Community-Event-and-W...   there is one event you can win a name/rank like Phoenix has in.

Here is the thread talking about the challenges where you could even ask for one you think might be winnable for you!    http://www.community.us.playstation.com/t5/Starhawk-General/Weekly-Challenge-Idea-Thread/m-p/3892855...

Actually...it would be a very, VERY good idea for these people to come join us...we always need more people to play with! And the challenges are super easy!

Yup or they can join "Target Locked", the weekly Call of Duty event, and win there as well!

You should...its the easiest to pick up and has the least competition (because people forget to sign up...) and the challenges are super easy! How else could I have a name for a few months straight?

Again, I'm going to let some of the legacy MVPs speak their minds.

I do believe there would be a lot less resistance and controversy in the community if the new program were able to have debuted under a new name.

Using the legacy MVP program, in my view, isn't being well received by some because the MVP program did have a certain meaning to many in the community including many of us so called "legacy MVP's".

I'd be less than truthful if I said I was happy with the name used for it's introduction. If the Legacy MVP program was to be retired then the name should have been as well. I understand why it's being done but be that as it may it was not the optimal way to have done this.

I said exactly this a few posts back, Joanna has actually said something I agree with.

I don't disagree.  There were unavoidable reasons for this.

Some transparency then sir? Why sugar-coat and try to sppon feed us this with the mindset that "we know what's best" without any explanation? We get enough of that as it is and as you can see, some of the folks here don't just drink the Kool-Aid.

I really can't offer much more on this. I typically champion transparency when possible.  This is not one of those times, sorry.

Pink is a cute color. Perhaps we could get him to visit Home and find him an outfit to match his name. :smileywink:
