You sign into playstation network (using your ps3 online ID) via your PC. my pc and ps3 are not networked. you are signing as you would any other website. the website via PC accepted my credit card info no problem. then i added funds to the wallet while still on my pc.

i went back downstairs (were the ps3 is) and logged into the store and made the purchases. hope that helps.

Tried this and it still says my info is invalid. I love my PS3 but this credit card updating crap is rediculous.

I used a VISA myself without problems, not sure how debit cards will work .. I will assume it will create problems, I think they want it to have a VISA/Mastercard symbol on them to be used.

As for Ultanative, from what ive read the PO box stuff is giving people a huge hassle. They are saying to place it all on one line. I would try without the "po" and "box" and see what happens. Ive also read that sometimes it wants you to put it all on the second line. I didnt have that problem specifically, but I did have my middle name in the equation, and it still worked fine after all the efforts.

Ill check back and see how this is going, as I have a feeling there are many people looking for solutions.

Good luck.

Ive read that if it says that you might have to wait 24 hrs for your console to reset after a number of unsuccessful tries, but I dont know tha for sure.

It takes 48 hours to reset and like I said earlier in this post don't use the 2nd address line it needs to be on line 1 if you have an apt or whatever. This was told to me by sony and it worked fine after the 48 hours.

Relieved to know this wasn't just happening to me, but still pissed that it's happening at all.

I can't add funds on the PS3 or the store, and it's been almost 48 hours.  The fact that this kind of problem even occurs (during the day of a PSN update, of all things) is really piss-poor on Sony's part.
