Can't connect to PSN

3 replies 408 views Edited May 14, 2014

I have been trying to connect to PSN on my PS4 for awhile but it keeps failing. It says I obtained an IP and connected to Internet but failed PSN. Am I the only one or iis something wrong with PSN?

Since yesterday evening I can't log in PSN or get disconnected with errors 8002ED6 and 80710092 from PSN or can't find players/games online.
I used PSN for at least a year with wired connection with the same ISP and settings and I've never had issues like this.

Sometimes I'm able to connect to PSN and even join online games, but when I'm trying to go to the Store I'm disconnected with error 8002ED6. Or for example when I tryed to play Tekken Revolution the game stuck at Liscence check. It just couldn't go further. Also I had two freezes at Trophies Check. Never had any of these before.

I tried rebooting my router many times, direct connection without router, as well as using Google DNS servers - no result. I have no problems with the Internet. The browser works fine.

There were more than 500 reports on downdetector.com today. It's problem on the Sony's end but I don't see any activity from them. It seems that they are just ignoring the problem.
