Hello PlayStation community,

My cousin gave me his PS3.  I created a new Sony account, and when I try to log in online in PS3 Network, it gives me a message that says "You cannot sign in using another user's sign-in ID (e-mail address)."  What should I do?  The PS3 is not brand new and has been used before.

Go to Account Management, Account Information and Sign-In ID. Be sure it's your email address that your account is associated with. If not, simply change the information (to a legitimate/actual email address).
