I had the Sunday ticket last year and had no buffering problems.
I had a similar problem with netflix and a samsung blu ray player about 1 year ago. It turned out to be a firmware problem on the blu-ray player. The problem resolved with a firmware update. I suspect that this is either a Sony PS3 firmware problem or a problem with the Sunday ticket application on the PS3. I hope sony issues an update that fixes the problem.
This is a sony PS3 software or firmware problem. I suspect that it is the NFL Sunday ticket application on the PS3. I had the Sunday ticket on PS3 last year and it worked fine. Nothing has changed with my internet connection.
Sony should have corrected this by now. If it was not a software problem then it would be a more isolated problem, but this forum has people from all over the country with different ISP and routers.
What is being done now?? This weeks bears game is again unwatchable. Can we expect a fix before next week?
if not, can we get a hastle free refund of the service?
have they considered this a problem with the updated direct tv app? Or the last ps3 update?
realize last year it worked great.
All of the network applications on my PS3 work fine. The NFL Sunday ticket is the only one that is buffering. I can watch streaming movies on Netflix without buffering or video problems. This is a problem with the NFL Sunday ticket application or the sony firmware. Sony should refund all NFL Sunday ticket customers.
