Since the new update was released, a few of my friends have reported that their friends list no longer displays their friends. Has anyone else had this issue? My friends list appears to be fine, but it seems that some are affected by this issue.

UPDATE: After waiting forever, the friends list has finally shown up. So, maybe all is well with it.

Having this issue also, first boot after the updated friends list would not load. Reboot loaded friends list but was extremely slow, about 5 mins to load them all. A few people on my friends list having the same issue.

Mine worked fine the first time, but only 5 or 6 of my friends loaded up quickley, the rest came in about a mins latter and about 5 of my friends icons never load... im thinking the firmware has nothing to do with it since the new ps store wasent launched today

That is what i'm thinking too i think it is something in the network it's self since i have power cycled my modem and router and the same thing happens my friends list does what yours does the firmware has nothing to do with our friends list it is in the server that are systems connect to

wow i thought it was just me! wth is this? ive had this ps3 for 4+ years now and first time has something like this happened.

All I've got to say is this never happened before the update, although it may be the network, the update did something that's for sure.

Also noticed my XMB response time is extremely slow now while using Netflix, never happened before the update.

My XMB response time is slow when i play games or send invites and it wasn't like that before the update so the firmware did do something to some of our playstations when i'm in a game and i bring up the xmb to invite someone or to check messages when i prees the ps button to close it it take a minute for it to close and to send friends invites very odd i no like wonder if it has something to do with them moving the trophies to under the playstation network

Im not having any of the reported issues on my ps3. i guess its hit or miss on who it effects.

I hate the trophies being under the network tab, that needs to be put back to the game tab ASAP. Also it needs to stop syncing every single time I click trophies just to check. It's infuriating when I just want to check a quick trophy and it has to resync over and over again. Yes, I know about changing it to "offline" mode but I already have forgotten a few times and it's very annoying. Really bad and useless changes they made here.
