I bought need for speed: the run 3 days ago & every single time I play it it ends up freezing my ps3. Can pns refund me my money for the game ? what can i do to fix this ? I dont like playing a game that ends up freezing & having to start again. pls help.

No , I've played my other games without any problems. it's just this one game.

Does it freeze after a certain point? Is there anything unusual on the screen when it freezes?

After a certain amount of time it freezes , everything freezes I can't do anything. It's happened since the first day I bought it.

How old is your PS3?

If you play another graphically-intensive game for a similar amount of time, does it freeze too?

Try going into Safe Mode and using the Restore File System and Rebuild Database options. Ignore the warning about corrupted data.

It's about 2 - 3 months old.

I mostly play COD games & i never had any problems.

Try Safe Mode as mentioned above and tell me if you can play without freezing afterwards.

Did you download the latest updates if any for NFS: The Run?

Did you ever figure this out?  I got this game at Christmas, and just getting around to use it.  I'm on my 3rd copy from Walmart, because i swear my console never crashes, so i thought it must be the software.  Everytime in the same spot on the "the Run" story mode, at El Capitan road beginning.

Challenges all work, every Run up to that point works fine, then as soon as it hits that intro, it freezes, and the only way out is a hard start.

first release 60gb PS3, Fatboy.  HDMI hooked to HD tv, output set on 1080i
