Have good signal strength but can't connect to internet/psn

5 replies 837 views Edited Oct 2, 2011

So, lately I've had a better-than-usual signal strength (meaning 55-70%(I usually don't get above 55%)) but I can't get my ps3 to connect to the internet or PSN. However, sometimes my ps3 will connect for brief periods of time. What can I do to get a consistent connection?

That means your PS3 cannot find your router. It's probably because your wireless connection is very weak. See my FAQ for wireless tips.

I have a hundred percent signal strength but it failed to connect to the internet while it successfully obtained the IP address. i can connect my computer with the exact same router no problem. So that made me sure that there's nothing wrong with my internet. what should i do?
