Help

2 replies 83 views Edited Mar 7, 2013

So here's the deal.....my husband set up a psn account several years ago.  We then moved to BFE.  We were unable to get Broadband, so we haven't had the PS3 hooked up to the internet for a long time.  Well, we moved back to civilization.  Yeah!  We hooked up the internet to our Ps3, but when he went to sign in he was told that his password is no longer valid.  The email address that he used when he first signed up, years ago is gone, so he can't get a password reset.  What do we do?

Hi & Welcome to the PlayStation Community.

Sorry no one came by earlier to assist you, don't take it personally it was probably because they were unable to help you out.

I think your problem stems from the 'hack' with PSN which forced all of us to change our paswords, I think your only option here is to speak to Sony playStation customer service about this.

Here's their phone number:

PHONE 800-345-SONY
Mon - Sun 6:00AM - 10:00PM Pacific

And here's the link to all the options:

My feeling is that this should be a relatively simple issue to resolve.

Good luck.
