I've been trying to log on for about an hour now, and my friend just confirmed that it isn't letting him on ether!!!

Whats going on?

im having the same problem, my friend says that it is an activision wide maintenance but i can neither deny nor confirm this.

i also am having the same problem i contacted playstation support they gave me activision numbers but the support center is closed either wat it sucks playstation guy told me maybe its from the hurricane

Im in Colorado and i am having the same problem. I checked both PS3's just to make sure it wasn't a system error but nope. This is making me mad! What am i supposed to do now?

Black ops server is also down in San Diego.

It's down here in Australia too, just spoke to Activision in New York and he said people are calling about the issue & that he is not yet aware of what is going on yet and that he thinks the problem is hurricane sandy as the Activision/Call Of Duty servers are based in New York. He also said after commenting on New York getting powered restored in a min of 7 days, That they have backup generators that can be put in place in less than that time.

No go in chicago, my console says servers arw down. Its time to play atatri 2600, still got mine.
