hello tonight i tried to download a Sonic game through the playstation network and i was using an American Express prepaid gift card. After I put in all the information it said the card is not vaild so i called them and they told me to ask does the network not take the gift cards or is only credit/debt card being able to be used ?

Gift cards are not accepted on PSN, pre-paid credit cards however are, so long as they are registered to a name & address.
