I havent been able to connect to the Playstaion network and according to Sony its Online...... So why does my connection keep timing out. Ive reset my router and powercycled my modem and nothing worked.......... I would like to play MW3 now please.

nvm... it failed.  I ran a test and it connected to the playstation network but then didn't let me sing in

Same for me here for the last hour or so. I thought it was just me, especially since I only got the console at Christmas and the new router two days ago!  I rebooted everything and I have an Internet connection on the PS3 just can't get into PSN

Same here been trying to sign in for a long time now.

It did just let me sign in for 5 minutes but I've just been booted again. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

samething is happening to me and I just got a new internet connection.

Yeah, it happened to me about 3 hours ago. Sony told me its my Internet service provider, but if that is the case why can i get on the net on my console and on playstation network on the computer. They told me the same thing about the network being online. I not happy. I could be real close to prestiging tonight, but NOOOO, they are screwing with us.

A number of other people have reported issues this afternoon/evening EST with not being able to sign into PSN, it's odd because I have been online all day with no issues at all.
