Hello, I just went the past 3 days having connection issues with my ps3. It started out I could not connect online (would not find IP address) and once I could get online certain things would not work properly such as viewing a friends player profile or being able to see trophy levels. I also had trouble connecting to the internet and when I could use my browser it was slow and would not load full sites or buffer videos. Anyway, I just solved this problem by resetting my PS3 settings to default and it completely fixed the issue. So if you are having or eventually have this problem go to "System Settings -> Restore Defualt Settings" hit yes and follow the instructions. I could not find any information on what the problem was or how to solve it so I figured I would post this and hope it is useful to somebody else.

Did you test it? Did it work when you have the 80710092 error?

I am honestly not sure what the error code was that I was getting, but you will not lose anything by doing it. It just resets everything, though you do lose internet browser history and bookmarks, everything else is just reset.

Best thing to do is reset your router and wait 30 seconds I have to do that once in awhile
