Hey, two questions for you guys first question every how many months are you supposed to vacuum your ps3 vents and second question do you guys recommend changing the thermal paste on my ps3...

You should vacuum the vents any time they become even partially obstructed with dust.  Sony does not recommend ever replacing the thermal paste yourself, but if the PS3 isn't broke, I wouldn't recommend fixing it.  Unless you have an early fat PS3 model, it isn't clear that replacing the thermal paste is necessary at all. The newer PS3 models run significantly cooler than the early ones did, and the paste may not be an issue on them.
