So you forgot the e-mail? lol  Usually people forget about the password not their e-mail.    Sony should be able to help you out.

I have a similar problem, except I didn't forget anything.  I actually completely wiped my hdd.  psn account, games saves, music, purchased games.  everything is gone.  It happened when I was trying to put the hdd in my friends ps3.  I formatted it thinking it would just upgrade the firmware and not delete everything on it.  what do I do to get my account back with all my purchases?  I mean, I paid for the stuff, it seems like I would have the right to own it.

Your account shouldn't of actually been deleted, it should have lost it's link with your PS3, you should be able to still sign on with the same account on your PS3.

alright, now I've got a new issue.  This situation keeps ketting more and more complicated.  Alright, here's exactly what happened.  I brought my ps3 hdd from another state so that I could play here on my friend's ps3.  When I formatted the drive via his ps3 and my psp (with the system update on my psp mem stick) it wiped all the files on my hdd.  now when I put his hdd back in it wants to do the same thing to his.  Wiping my own hdd was bad enough, I don't want to wipe his, too.  So, I went out and bought a usb adapter.  I've hooked up the hdd to the adapter to back up his games saves and what-have-you before I format it.  But when I go to my computer it seems that the drive is not being recognized.  can I not access it because it is formatted for the ps3 or something?
