I recently moved from the US to Israel and then my PS3 got YLOD, so I bought a new Super Slim (EU).  How do I access my PSN account from the US to redownload content that I already purchased?  I was told there is a way to do it but that I'd need a special approval from Sony.  Does anyone know exactly what I'm supposed to do?  Thank you.

I wasn't aware that this was possible or that any 'special approval' was given for such circumstances.
