Last time I downloaded a optianal update my ps3 has basically been useless. What does this update even do and stop realesing all this pointless stuff and get to fixing the real main issue here.

Yea I dont know the exact number I clicked on to check if there was an update because someone mentioned it and there is one but I didnt want to update so I keep on pressing circle to go back and it wouldnt let me so I just turned off my PS3.

You are talking about the PS3, right?  The latest is the 4.31.
