2 replies 1959 views Edited Jan 1, 2013

I had error 80010017 to begin with so i reformated my ps3 by going to utility and selecting full format. i then went to the ps3 recovery menu and restored my ps3. next i updated my ps3 and downloaded the ps3 store.  Now when i try to install any DLC for any game it gives me error 800233E8. No one seems to know what or how to deal with this. i went back to the recovery menu and rubuilt my database but the error is still there. Does anyone know what i need to do to fix this problem, PLEASE HELP!

Could you please try to give the community some time to help you with your problem rather than creating new topics every ten minutes.

I know i'm not in any position of authority, but it's bad forum etiquette.

From what I've found online, this appears to be a problem regarding the clock on your PS3 VS. the clocks on Sony's side. Make sure your clock is set correctly (Including the date), your network is configured properly, and your region settings are correct.

If all else fails, give it a few hours.

Well said Attacks!

To the OP, please don't make post after post after post asking the exact same thing, it is called spamming & it has the opposite effect of the one you want by making people less likely to assist you with your problem.
