error code 80130504

I get signed out of PSN and back on. This is the error code I get. My internet provider came by checked my connection and everything was fine. The lights on my modem show that I am still got a strong connection. I think it's the new update that's giving me the problem. What do I do?

i am having the same exact problem!! it happened when i first downloaded the socom beta and then when i updated my ps3, have u fixed it yet??

Are you wired or wireless? Have you also try you power cycle your modem/router as well?

well i dont think u were asking me but maybe u can see a flaw in my setup, i have a wired connection, the modem is hooked up to my pc through the usb port, then i have my ps3 hooked up in the ethernet port on the pc, fyi, i get this error code even when i hook it up directly to the modem!!

this error code is pissin me off. and its not a problem with anybody's network connection. its entirely a problem with playstation network. if i connect to the internet w/o signing into PSN, i dont get this error.

i see long theses post on error code 80130504.  soo wheres the answer? im getting real sick of this freakin code. it happen every day. dont u think sony shuld get their sh$t together and fix it.

Just started getting this code yesterday. Its like the connection to psn just blinks off and then on. It even signs itself back in its that quick. Still drops me out of the round of battlefield im in which is frustrating.
I followed the above link but I have system 4.1 or whatever the newest is so its not that.

Also mentions in the above link about video certification via DNLA... im only playing a game not watching video's.
Its very random to just start happening thats all . Any answers would b great. Cheers

vfr provided the answer right above your post. Click the link. See it says to have the latest firmware (4.41) I know you said you have that. It also says to "click here" to contact Support. Have you done that? Cheers.
