¤ My thoughts would be to call Sony directly and try to explain the issue to them. Either way, they're not going to like what they hear. Whether it was you or your friend, it was wrong in Sony's eyes, they don't seem to tolerate things like this.

But seriously; Sony will not care who did it. They will only see, and have seen, the source of the hack as being your system's ID. You need to have your friend buy you a new system, if he is the one who did it. Fair is fair.
Punch him I the throat while you are at it. Hackers are lame, and only cause problems. There is no point to it.
