ps3 trubles

Ok i got a need for speed game and it needed the web on ps3 so i hooked it up and then it wants me to o an update so i tryed then it says disconnected from internet i was like ummm ok so i went to my cpu and its internet was out too i was like huh i went to router and lights wer on so i inpluged the stuf and it was back i tryed the download again it did it again i need help
