So my Astro A40 headset that I've been using for my ps3 and 360 seems to work somewhat for the ps4. However, after a few minutes, or less, it gives me a headset disconnected message, cutting off chat and changing audio output it seems. Followed by a message shortly after saying its detected my headset and would like me to pick the user for it. I know its only day one and all, but I was wondering if I was the only one getting this problem and if so, how I can fix it?
I have had the same problem with the A40. I have also had to same problem with the Turtle Beach PX7.
I have read that the A50 works perfectly, so I am going to try those and see if the problem with my PS4 is for all headsets, or just certain ones.
I will reply back and let you know if the A50 works, or if it is just something Sony will have to come out with a patch for.
Well I have some good news and I have bad news for you guys. I'm having the same issue AND its with my Astros a50's. I have the a50's up to date and Ive been in contact with astro support and there saying its a Sony issue. Ive done multiple test with my other astro headset setups (A40's & A30's) with the same result. Ive even taken my whole setup to a buddys house with a PS4 to find out it worked perfectly fine, Heres where the bad news comes in. Its your PS4 and it needs to be replaced. Ive contacted Sony already and im being sent out a coffin.
