Sony Pulse Elite bass issue

2 replies 169 views Edited Sep 7, 2013

So I just purchased a Sony Pulse Elite a week back. Its nice and all but the bass gets muffle from time to time. From playing a couple games or listening to music, the bass comes out garble when I raise just a little bit from the off position. It worked well a couple times when I was listening music earlier but now, its crap. Is there a setting or something I need to do or do I need to exchange it for another one? Thanks!

I'm not sure, the bass on mine is the same as your describing it. I heard good things about this headsets bass but I honestly don't understand it because it's pretty bad imo. Unless mine is just defective or something.

You have to adjust the pulse effect to match your volume level.  If the pulse effect is set too high, then they will sound like blown speakers.  Certain profile settings crank up the pulse effect, so you can try using a different profile also.

I've been a gamer since Pong was a new system.
