Can't access cloud storage once PSN Plus runs out?

6 replies 239 views Edited Apr 21, 2013

So my PSN Plus membership ran out a couple of months ago and now I am unable to acess all of my game saves that I made to the cloud. Is there now way for me to atleast transfer the cloud saves to my PS3 HDD or am i screwed and just have to renew my membership?

Cloud saves are a part of the membership benefits, no membership = no benefits.

You could also purchase a game you might be interested in that comes with a 1 month PS+ code.  I believe that would give you access to your cloud saves, as well.

You won't be able to access your online storage unless you purchase another subscription.  In the past you could use a free 30-day trial offer, even if you had used one before, or had been a Plus subscriber before; but that may no longer be the case.  Sony will keep the save data that you uploaded after your subscription ends, but not forever.  Your save data in online storage will be kept for six months after your subscription ends.  After that, Sony may delete the save data at any time.  If you want to keep your data in online storage, then you should not go more than six months without subscribing to Playstation Plus. If you decide to not renew your Plus subscription, then you have to download any save data that you want to keep from online storage, before your subscription ends.
