Near obtains Location information, but fails while sending it with the error C2-13444-6.  It was working fine prior to the PSN maintenence, but has failed since the network has been back up.

Anyone else having issues?

I have been experiencing the same problem several times today. Near succeeds in identiying the location, but always fails out with error C2-13444-6  just after that.

I am getting the same error no matter what wifi connection I use, so it looks like it is on Sony's end.

Well, it was a bit drastic, but deleting all near data seems to have fixed the problem.  Just lost almost 2,000 miles and 150 game goods in the process, though... ah well.

Are you sure the network was back up when you tried?  When I checked on Sunday (when this thread was created) the network was still undergoing maintenance, according to the website.  I just tried Near this morning and it worked fine; I did not try it during the maintenance.

The last time I tried was about 3 minutes before deleting my near data.  I was still getting the error (C2-13444-6).  Immediately after deleting the data, it worked without problems.

For what it is worth, I still have this problem (get location data, error C2-13444-6 when trying to send). Since the PSN maintenance, I think I've only gotten it to send location data a couple of times. Still hoping for something less drastic than erasing all Near data.

Edit: I did delete my Near data on the 14th, and Near has updated consistently since deleting the data.

Kudos for the deleting data bit, worked for me as well
