Re: Touch problem after updating to 1.80

[ Edited ]

This week my friend _Zarra discovered and told me that the PS Vita Game Cards had each one a version of the Vita system firmware. Trying to look up for games that may come with the version 1.80 or above, I found out a couple like CoD Declassified, All-Star Battle Royale, Need For Speed and AC Liberation.

Last week I bought CoD Declassified, to test the option "Update Though PS Vita Card", in the Vita Recovery Menu. Turned out that the game has the 1.80 version of the firmware, and I would be able to update my system. After a couple of times updating the Vita and Restarting the system continuously, I passed the planet screen and entered the PS Vita system.

When I got it, I started testing all Vita features, entering the Settings Menu, openning the camera, but suddenly the system stopped working, so I had to reset it, and then I got back to the same problem again.

I kept trying updating and restarting, I was able to access the system 3 times, all of them unsuccessfull.

In the fourth time I had the system working on my hands, I used it for about 30 minutes, everything working like a charm. I tried to turn off the Vita and turn on again (the toughest test), and it also worked. So I thought to myself: "That's the time". So I decided to update the Vita to the 2.05 version, eliminating all of my chances to use the CoD to restart the process. After the update, the Vita restarted, and everything was working.

My Vita came back, I hope everyone of you guys who have the same problem manage to solve it.

I'll keep visiting this topic to answer any of your questions.

GOOD LUCK :smileyvery-happy:
