That screenshot was taken while Insomniac was still working on Going Commando. You'll see that many of the screenshots feature different elements than what are in the final game. The Heavy Lancer has a blue shot even in the handbook that came with the game. The unupgraded Lancer originally had a green shot, the Mini-Nuke had a different icon, lots of stuff was undecided.
