Wow, that article was awesome! I had no idea how much work and pain went into the game, and the fact that Insomniac didn't even begin with Ratchet & Clank in mind! Thank the heavens I5 didn't work out, or we all wouldn't be on this board right now!

Here's the link to an article that I ran across the other day, written by Ted Price regarding the first Ratchet and Clank game.  I found it extremely interesting and I hope you do, too.  The site that had the article required you to join and fill out a lot of information blanks just to read it, and since some people prefer not to do such things, I've hosted the text and pictures myself, however, none of the pictures are anything new.  Hope you enjoy it; tell me what you think!

,I apologise, my friend.  I've read the entire article and it looks like I don't have anything insightful or witty to say as promised.  Again, regarding the aborted game with the female lead with a staff as a weapon;  it reminds me of the game I just played, Beyond Good & Evil.  I wonder if the Insomniac game will ever see the light of day in any form.  It does sound interesting.

I never really thought of the problems they go through to make a single game. Cacelling productions and starting again? ouch!
