Planet Aranos  Mission 2. I am at the disappearing platforms. I stopped counting

the  number times attempts that I have made. I keep falling when I reach the

sideways platform. The book instructions you to  “ be methodical and make sure

to hit the jump button as soon as Ratchet comes in contact with it”. I hit the jump

 button Ratchet goes into strike mode or shoots what ever weapon he is holding

but he never reaches the sideways platform.

Someone Please help !

What people were trying to say is that if you take your sweet time, the platforms will disappear under your feet.  So avoid the double-jump.

These platforms appear in series.  They are timed.  You can actually jump too quickly and miss because the plaform wasn't there yet.  Usually, it's the older people with slow reflexes that think you need to jump IMMEDIATELY to make the next platform.  You don't.  But you can't dawdle either.

Look at the timing of the platforms' appearances.  If you'r a little quick on the jump key, wait about a quarter of a second and then jump.  If you're getting there just as the platform appears, try slowing it down just a wee bit.  Maybe even try the double-jump to back your progress off just a hair.

I Did It! And  It Worked! I focused on moving right/Left and I made it past both series

of tricky disappearing  platforms.  Thanks to all the support, I got off Planet Aranos!

Congrats. Good luck on snivelak. Its a bit ch with enemies and tanks but you can do it! We'll do everything we can to help so just ask.

You don't play a lot of platformers do you? I've never seen someone have so much trouble with this game.
