What follows may seem like a pretty mundane issue, but please, stick with me: the problem is almost game-breaking.
Simply put, I can't utilize checkpoints in All 4 One. There doesn't seem to be a "Continue Game" option on the main menu; I can't even save in-game, I need a checkpoint; the "Create Game" screen doesn't present any options (I play offline). Now, the game seems to remember my statistics (my bolt count, my level, etc.), but it doesn't seem to recognize my location - I even went through my PSN account and found the save data, but I couldn't interact with it in any meaningful way.
If I want to play All 4 One, I have to play it without stop: the moment I turn the system off (and I have tried multiple times), I have to start an entirely new game, since there doesn't seem to be anything to load: I've played the first level three times. Please, even a basic walkthrough of how you load your game, however foolish it may seem (and I am a Ratchet and Clank veteran), would help.
It appears that Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One is without a manual save option. The way to save the game is through level completion. Once you see the score sheet at the end of a level, the game should save for you then at that point. Otherwise, if you're attempting to play the game without doing so all the way, it appears you're not making progress.
Hopefully it's not a case of a dreaded patch-waiting scenario where it'll take weeks to fix the bug. Try getting through the entire level first though, and see if that corrects the issue.
It should save at the last check point but doesn't... Your progress is saved but you can't pick up at that point...
This is flawed, for you shouldn't have to go back an do over what you have already finished...
Only the the devs could explain this over sight on their part
