RDR was seen as a game with much potential, but more you grow to "love" the more you actually grow to hate it....
"Friendly Free Roam" is not friendly at all, in Multiplayer I still get shot at! Gangs still attack you!
I do not understand at all what is supposed to be "Friendly" in F.F.R. mode?
After obtaining Lasso from breaking Stallions, and capturing run-away Stallion, I discover that Lasso is
not then available to me in Multiplayer Mode?
Can someone please explain why not? Do you have to do separate things in Multiplayer to gain access
Many videos on youtube about R.D.R. seem to come from (ugh) xbox users: "Flying High", and the
"Hidden Secret Room", and other stuff apparently not as easily accessed on PS3, or not available at
all, again distracting from enjoyment of the overall experience on PS3.
[BTW: I do appreciate the "full" walkthru's that are available for some games now; it does work to
encourage you to want to reach the same level as your friends, and in those difficult areas any help
is a good thing! Just watch what you need to get past those truly 'rough spots'. ]
Free Roam is an awesome concept, but why is there not a "Safe/Neutral Mode"?
NO ONE attacking you, NO ANIMALS ATTACKING, use of things you are awarded for completing
missions, etc... in Single Player.
If you have Game of the Year, obviously, there is no DLC package to add any new twists after completing
the game. (That I am aware of now.)
I am in favor of DLC's that would add almost anything that would further extend the RDR-Free-Roam world, up too and yes including 'Dinosaurs'!! Herding Dinosaurs on Horseback? Classic!
I am available via Email and Twitter. for *FRIENDLY* RDR interaction: Exploration, testing glitches, etc.
I have keyboard and mic. : - )
I do not spend much time in HOME any more since too many of the best things that made HOME interesting have disappeared and entirely changed the feel of HOME. Although it has grown and
expanded with new features and innovations... But I do still check it out from time to time.
