Try:
Jrpgs: Star Ocean The Last Hope, Valkyria Chronicles (very recommended, is more tatical, see gameplay),, Eternal Sonata (very recommended), Tales of Grace f (very recommended), Resonance of Fate ( a bit different), have other series like Atelie and Hyperdimension Neptunia, but i don`t recommend, because is peculiar, made for your base-fans. Have others, but these are the tops.
Wrpg: Dragon age origins (the best team batlle rpg for me, very recommended), Mass efect ( a bit different, more a action-rpg, but with strategy), Dragon`s Dogma (very recommended).
The other are solos: Skyrim, Oblivion, Demon`s Souls, Dark Souls, Fallout 3 ...)
If you want a more especific rpg say. These are team battle.

Apart from the RPGs already mentioned, I'd point out that Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is coming in a couple of weeks. As for team mechanics, it looks as if the game will utilize multiple personas during battle, being able to choose between them. Though, I'm not exactly sure how this will all play out just yet.
