Roper's long gone. He was fired or something a few months ago. There might be someone out there that fixes the stuff on SOCOM 4 but i'm not sure who it is.

Well he and everyone else were "let go". I don't think there is any way for the people maintaining the servers now to fix it.

The servers need to be reset again as it's back to 8. Thank you
the reset is what took it back to 8. for it to be set back to 2 zipper needs to send the updated information back to sony, zipper is no longer which means there wont be any info sent back to sony which means you are stuck with it at 8 from here on out.

, but when the servers are moved to 1.05 then a minimum of 2 will automatically remain the default.

So I guess that didn't work out?

My system will not take version 1.05 so I have not played my on-line version. I have a password protected wi-fi connection and it also loads slow before error reading 1.05 will not load. I might need a different version so I may play on line.

SOCOM 4 is all screwed up. The updates keep getting reset, it resets every month or so...I've just gotten use to it.

Even though I couldn't stomach to even think about playing the game, nobody that does should have to deal with crap like that. It's a shame online games get abandoned so quickly these days.

Yeah, it's a pain having to search for rooms but it doesn't stop anyone from playing. I like bombsquad, if I want to play bombsquad I have to get friends to join or recruit people from other rooms. It's all part of the crappy deal we got on SOCOM 4 because they didn't put lobbies in. It doesn't make the game better if they reduce the ques for 4 to 2, they should have opened up the rooms for everyone.
