yes I would pay $100 for this if they did EVERYTHING the HARDCORE SOCOMers wanted, not the new people to the franchise

I have yet to find a "Next Gen" game which can compete with SOCOM 1/2.

  • Every map specifically catered or altered to one game mode in mind like S1-S2 to ensure true individuality and uniqueness of the maps. No more playing Crossroads Breach....
  • 50+ weapons
  • Various weapon accessories and gear items
  • Ranked Respawn tailored after the Traditional SOCOM MP. 
  • Separate stats for ranked and non ranked/ And also separate stats for respawn and None
  • Video match recording ala UC and COD
  • In game player abuse report system
  • Individual medleys ala Breach Med, Demo Med, Escort med etc etc
  • S4 stat collection setup
  • Push to talk
  • Proximity Chat
  • Detailed in game score board
  • S1-S2 enhanced HUD
  • Picking up any gear off of dead bodies regardless of what you carry as long as a slot is open.
  • Lobby Text chat along with audio
  • Push to talk audible signals for grabbing the mics
  • Alpha Bravo Charlie alternate channels tap to talk down on the dpad for secondary channel

Im fresh out of ideas though at this point....SOCOM: Legacy 

 


 

dont hold your breath. Roper has confirmed it hasnt even been thought of yet and wont be for a long, long time....

Yes. It will be released after someone starts making and then finishes it. Since it hasn't been started or even greenlit yet, it's going to be a long, long time.

Good start, no doubt. But a few problems. Want a real SOCOM experience? No ranked respawn. Respawn was made for practice, not rank.
50-75 Mp maps? That would never work nor would we want that many maps. 10-15 is fine at most.
Stick with S1-S2 game modes, maybe some newer game modes.
We dont need a huge SP, the more they put into SP, basically the less that goes in MP. Confrontation did a good job with no SP because it made the MP much better. More time and consideration. We dont need a SP at all, especially no S4 campaign, SOCOM never followed specific characters like Gary Cullen. Just the leader of a ALL Navy SEAL squad. S4 campaign was awful.
Need NAVY SEALs and Terrorists. No Spec-Ops and Mercenaries, **bleep** is that bs.
I love the specific mode maps, that made SOCOM more fun.
I wouldnt expect the fully customizable controller schemes tho.
All in all tho, great start. Just needs some tweaking
