You can buy the part on Amazon for about $60 and it takes about an 1 1/2 to install hope that helps you

People on the CoD forums are saying it will be on there today, as well as GTA: Vice City. I haven't researched it but their source is joystiq.com, which is normally reliable.....fingers crossed because this game is murdering my blu ray drive!

Try joystiq.com and playstation lifestyle.com. I don't know about the lifestyle site, but joystiq.com is pretty reliable. I don't want to get my hopes too high because I know Activision's history, but that's the word on the net....

I've been kinda waiting for it, my disc reader broke so I'm relying on PSN downloads. I hope they don't lie to us. It would be great to have it on the PSN store? Do you know when the PSN store updates? So we can like countdown or something aha?

I feel you man, my blu ray is messed up as well so I too am depending on this. I don't think they have a set time for the updates, but psn will be down for maintenance during the update. I think it was prett late last week so we may be biting our nails for a few hours.

All we have to do now, is play the waiting game. Hopefully when the update is done we aren't disappointed.
