Really cant wait to play this. I just downloaded Borderlands a few days ago and really started to enjoy it. If Sony wouldn't have put it up on the PSN for free I probably wouldn't have bought this new one. Thank you Sony!

I saw that in the game menu today. Is the new character worth getting? I'm thinking I might spend the 10 bucks just to get a golden key.

I'm somewhat new to the game and was wondering if there's a place to farm loot like New Haven in the first  game. Level 16 assassin. Just wondering.

You can get a lot of golden keys if you follow the Gearbox and Randy Pitchford twitter accounts.

Is the new character worth getting? Depends on you. You get a new class to play through the same game.

In my opinion, the Mechromancer is worth getting. She's fun to play with, and her Deathtrap comes very handy in fights. :womanhappy:

Cool, I'm going to buy the dlc with the new character this weekend.

Remember in the first game in New Haven there was a save point and several chests that you could farm loot to keep or sell. Is there any place like that in the second game?

Introducing Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, the first of four campaign-style DLC packs for Borderlands 2.

scarlet

Captain Scarlett will introduce the new area of Oasis, filled (yet again) with bandit filled junkyards, palm trees and coral formations. No word on water, yet. Players can also expect the Sand Skiff to become available.

Borderlands 2's first big DLC pack will cost $9.99 and release on Oct. 16. Unless of course you've picked up the Borderlands 2 season pass, which includes Captain Scarlett and three more DLC campaigns over the next few months.
